Fumio Robert Nakahiro
A lifelong native of Los Angeles, Robert received his undergraduate degree in Public Administration (Public Affairs) Cum Laude from the University of Southern California, and his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
Robert possesses over 27 years of extensive case management and civil litigation experience primarily representing plaintiffs in areas of tort, personal injury, employment, business, commercial, corporate, property (tangible and intangible) real property, intellectual property and administrative law. Robert’s many years of practice encompass all litigation phases from client contact, evaluation, strategy, exhaustion of administrative and other government remedies, pre-litigation remedies, pleadings, provisional remedies, law and motion, discovery, dispositive proceedings, jury and trial proceedings, mediation, arbitration, alternate dispute resolution, settlement and appeal.
Robert has been admitted to the California State Bar since 1987. Robert also is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the United States District Court - Central District of California, and the United States District Court - Southern District of California.
Robert’s past and present bar memberships include the American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association and the Japanese American Bar Association.
Robert’s community involvement includes currently serving as President of the Board of Directors of North East Trees, a community based, grassroots environmental non-profit emphasizing design and construction of mini-parks and urban community open spaces. Robert also serves on the Board of Directors of Northeast Community Clinic which operates 12 healthcare centers focusing on healthcare access and education. Robert has also served as past President of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice.
