Tizoc Perez-Casillas is an attorney in the firm’s civil litigation department, where he focuses in Labor and employment claims. Tizoc earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology with a concentration in biopsychology from George Mason University. Tizoc received his J.D. in 2014. While in law school, Tizoc was a Dean’s Fellow and earned an Olender award for his academic achievements and success as a student advocate in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where he assisted D.C. residents in resolving their tax issues. Mr. Perez-Casillas became a member of the California State Bar in June 2016.
As an attorney, Mr. Perez-Casillas has represented and guided individuals in forming and structuring new business entities and helped clients resolve debts with creditors through settlement and modification of outstanding loans. Mr. Perez-Casillas has practiced in the areas of immigration, business litigation and insurance defense.
Outside of the legal practice, Mr. Perez-Casillas enjoys exploring California. He is also a fervent chess player and a globetrotter.
