Tizoc Perez-Casillas is an attorney in the firm's civil litigation department. Tizoc handles all aspects of case management and his practice focuses on employment-related lawsuits, including age, race, national origin, sex, disability, and religion discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, whistleblower claims, wrongful discharge, intentional torts, emotional distress, and other serious workplace issues.
Tizoc earned his undergraduate degree from George Mason University in three years. While in law school, Tizoc was a Dean's Fellow and earned an award for his academic achievements and success as a student advocate in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where he assisted D.C. residents in resolving their tax issues.
As an attorney, Tizoc represented and guided individuals in forming and structuring new business entities and helped clients resolve debts with creditors through settlement and modification of outstanding loans. Tizoc has practiced in the areas of immigration, business litigation and insurance defense.
Outside of the legal practice, Tizoc enjoys exploring California. He is also a fervent chess player and a globetrotter.
